Teakwood Residence
Exterior Renovation | Midland, Texas
The Teakwood residence involved a comprehensive exterior renovation focused on restoring the home’s original character while correcting aging and damaged building components.
The existing exterior showed deep stucco cracking, deteriorated finishes, aging windows, and outdated exterior doors. Alpha General Construction developed a coordinated scope that addressed the building envelope, exterior appearance, and major openings as one connected project.
The exterior was re-stuccoed using a traditional stucco assembly rather than isolated synthetic patchwork. This approach allowed damaged areas to be properly addressed while preserving the texture and architectural character of the home.
After the stucco work cured, the exterior was prepared and repainted using a finish selected to complement the existing stonework and surrounding landscape. New windows and exterior doors were installed to improve performance, appearance, and continuity across the home.
Custom garage doors were also incorporated to complement the property’s split-level architecture, warm material palette, and existing design features.
The completed renovation restored the exterior, strengthened the home’s visual identity, and created a more cohesive relationship between the stucco, stone, windows, doors, and garage openings.
